Here are some old pics from an event I ran for Red Valentino last December where we served cider and snowflake cookies.
I couldn’t resist the bows. I ended up buying a Red Valentino purse that very day – see, working can be quite costly in my world!
For a pic of me and my new purse, click to this Style Diary entry.
And being that I love to support our vendors on event day, I wore my Red Valentino outfit to work shown here!
The skirt is Red Valentino, from Saks.
What do you think of the blog’s re-design?? Make sure you subscribe if you haven’t already!
So how do you like my new website design? It’s going through its last remaining tweaks now and when it’s finally finished, I’m going to be giving away a fab goody bag with contents straight from NY fashion week so check back later!
For now, I wanted to leave you with some newly found wallpaper selections for your next fab decor project, all found here.
This black and white wallpaper find would be perfect for the shoe obsessed, a fashionista’s office or for anyone’s dressing area.
I especially love this one!!
I fell in love with this Chanel-inspired, blazer at Zara and knew it would be the perfect addition to my work wardrobe.
Here, I wore it with a BCBG blouse – don’t you love the exposed zipper detail?
The purse is Chanel and though it comes with a pearl chain add on, it is not shown here.
The skirt is Tahari and the shoes are Nine West.
Below, is the same blazer worn with a black top and skirt, St. John tote, bracelets from Express and a chain necklace from Jasmine Boutique.

I’ve worn this dress many times but this is the first time I think I’m posting it. It’s a Zara dress with sleeves that has shrunk in size with each wash go figure. I figure I better wear and post now before the slowly rising hemline becomes an unwearable mini.
The cardigan is by Cynthia Steffe and the purse is obviously Hello Kitty. My husband admitted to me once that he just “can’t resist the cute cat face” (and then proceeded to buy out the Sanrio store in Japan for his very lucky niece). Who else misses “The Hills” and “The City?” Was anyone else a Whitney Port fan? She was the beauty that gave good advice, and somehow avoided the easy transformation into a fashion diva prototype. I thought she was beautiful inside and out. And her style was always effortless. Here are some of my favorite Whitney Port looks.

I just returned from playing tennis during a long weekend getaway with my hubby and my parents in FL. Having not played in years, we both sucked but sucked equally. So it was still a fun game filled with taunting, endless jokes and laughter.
Then I came home to these adorable images from Kate Spade. Totally cute and totally inspiring. I love her preppy, girly style.
I noticed the sneakers in this pic below and had to laugh cuz I wore some insanely impractical fashion sneakers to play tennis this past weekend too!
Here are my new Aldo glitter sneakers below.
I love all that glitters! Check out my pinterest board for evidence here!
Here’s the rest of my tennis outfit. skirt and sleevless yellow pieces from Daffy’s and navy bolero top by Derek Heart.
At work, I’m surrounded by the latest trends so I’m constantly trying to resist the temptation to keep adding to my wardrobe. But because I’m also required to style our models for all the fashion events, I have every excuse to shop around and fantasize about wearing everything. For an in-store prom event targeting young teens, I styled our fashion models with some neon pops of color shown below and couldn’t help but get into the neon / vibrant color trend. What do you think of the below?
And now I’m really getting into neon jewelry! Here are my latest Fab neon Finds!
As a continuation to my recent sequin style diary post shown here, here is a follow-up with my sequin black sweater that I wore to work.
I toned it down with an Ann Taylor denim colored blouse, a Tahari skirt and conservative boots.
The trench is by Sinclair 10 and was bought at Saks. It is featured in the style diary posts here.
The tote bag was a freebie from NY fashion week.
I’m so tired from having just come back from a mini-vacation to Florida, that I’m cutting this post short. More later!
My co-worker told me I looked like a real-life Tiffany’s box. I think he was right.
Here is my outfit from earlier this week.
The whole outfit actually began with me re-discovering the antique brooch. I created the outfit around the brooch.
I pinned it onto the fur stole that I purchased super cheap and wore it with my Amanda Vinci cardigan and Anne Klein gold, shimmery dress. I belted the outfit with this studded gold piece which helped counter the ladylike look and added a pop of color with my floral fuschia heels. See the dress worn completely differently here.
I love this leather bow purse which I got for Christmas from Saks. It’s by Red Valentino.
This is a mixture of David Yurman, Betsey Johnson (bow and chain) and Forever 21 (bangle) bracelets.

Sparkle. Glitter. Sequin.
I love it all. The girly girl in me cannot resist the shiny shiny. I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to what I call glitter fashion (which you can view here).
Here are two outfits incorporating a shiny sequin top for work.
Saks had sold a bunch of sequin sweaters like this. Alice & Olivia being one of the brands that sold one for about $200. I found this one at H&M for about $30 and was surprised at the value I got given it was sequined both front and back – they didn’t skimp! Here I paired it with my Bebe tuxedo blazer and a pair of black pants that I rolled up -they’re an oldie from H&M and the booties are from Aldo.
Here, I’m wearing the same pants with my Vince sweater that I purchased at off 5th, a free bracelet from the Forever 21 spring fashion presentation (can’t remember the brands for the other accessories and shoes) and yet another H&M sequin top for a fraction of the price.
How do you feel about sequins? And have you figured out how to incorporate them into your everyday work wear?
