June 2012

I found this amazing deal on this Sans Souci striped dress at Marshalls.  I think the dress was $19.99.  How could I resist?  Here, I’ve styled it 4 ways.

I added brooches to each end of this thrifted necklace, layered a v-neck sweater over the dress and carried my Juicy tote.  The flats were free from a styling job I did and are from H&M.

Here, I added my Brooklyn Industries black topper and styled it with my Esprit tote and Aldo flats.

This is the tote bag that I got as a free gift with purchase when I attended the Henri Bendel event

I think I like the above outfit the best.  What about you?  The cardigan is Sinclaire 10, the heels have bows and the polka dot purse is Aldo.

I’m totally obsessed about the idea of having a white floor throughout my new apartment.  I love the shiny, white glossy finish and can just see myself gliding across the hallway in glee.  Check out these shots!

My husband and I are currently debating whether or not to go for it at our newly bought Manhattan apartment.  What do you think?

Ok ladies, I’m cleaning out my closet(s).  And I’m editing down my shoe collection.  Here are some size 7 shoes that you can buy for just $15 each (includes s&h).

Message me here if you want any of these (obviously with a description), making sure to include your email so that I can confirm ship to address.  thanks!

These Anne Klein heels are in need of a little love and care.  But a little repair, to adhere the leather back to the base is all it needs.

These Calvin Klein platform, patent leather heels have a cool studding detail and buckle ankle strap. I only wore these tweed heels once and then quickly realized that they were a bit big for me.

I fell in love with these black and white, floral heels but they’ve sort of just sat in my closet without being worn for the past year, so I’m giving them up.

These dusty pink suede shoes are sexy, soft and comfortable I promise!

How funny that I’m selling these “Gaaye” shoes on the same day that NY just finished its gay pride parade 🙂

These heels are Chanel-inspired with the tweed, floral and pearl details.  I wore these for work.

These heels are conservative, practically new and great for work.

These practical work shoes feel like you’re walking on air when you’re wearing them.

I love the color of these peach metallic heels but I for some reason couldn’t find occasions to wear them enough so now they can be yours.

Please note that the shoes, having been used, will have some scuffs, and signs of wear and that I am in no way presenting these as being new.

Payment can be made through paypal.com once you confirm your order.

I fell in love with this Zara blazer at first sight so much so that I actually stopped a fellow New Yorker on the street just to ask her where she bought her blazer. I didn’t care that she must have thought I was crazy. I just needed to have that blazer!

It’s the perfect work piece because it’s cool yet a professional topper over dresses and slacks.  And it makes for a chic casual topper on the weekends as well!  Which outfit is your favorite?

Here, I’m wearing the blazer with my new summer-weight, black slacks from BCBG, and a tote bag that is inspired from Olivia Palermo’s tote bag featured here.   The bow-tie blouse, is stolen from my mom’s closet.

In the next post, I paired the same blazer with cream pants, tank blouse, Chanel purse, and BCBG shoes.

The below is a mish mash of brands ranging from Prada to Ann Taylor and Chanel to H&M.  For the full outfit details, click here.

The below outfit consists of a Zara blouse, Express necklace, leather skirt, Chanel shoes and 9west heels.

Lastly, here’s a casual outfit worn with my AG fuschia jeans, Forever 21 tee and JCrew necklace.

Have you guys been to Zara lately?  I am loving their latest collection in stores now.  I wanted to wear everything!!  Here are some of my favorites, pinned onto my pinterest account!

I’m obsessed with this turquoise white and black color combination.  Not surprising given my blog’s design, right?

I last posted an outfit show with this beloved blazer here.  Below, I’m wearing it with a girly nude-colored H&M dress, Prada purse, a necklace from Express, bracelet from Ann Taylor Loft and a Chanel watch. Talk about mixing high and low!

Think about how you too can convert a daytime dress into a work-appropriate outfit simply with the addition of a smart blazer.  Zara makes some of my favorite tailored versions at a super affordable price.  I love this one for its Chanel inspired look. I love balancing sweet with sexy when styling outfits.  This outfit is a perfect example.  I’m wearing a Forever 21 sweet lace skirt (which gets tons of compliments at only $19.99 with my sexier, harder, Ann Taylor, leather jacket.

The polka dot purse is Aldo and my ballerina flats that I wear when I know I’m going to be running around the store handling events is Kelsi Dagger.  The whole outfit costs about $200 making it Frugal and Fab!
